ESA & Airbus - Moon Media Day
After the successful Artemis I mission, the European Space Agency (ESA) and Airbus will hold a media event at Airbus in Bremen, Germany, where the Orion European Service Module (ESM) is built.
The event will take place on Thursday, 9 February from 9.00-15.30 CET.
On the day, accredited media representatives will have the unique opportunity to speak with leaders and young engineers from the Orion team. During the Q&A session, you will get the latest first-hand information on mission success, main outcomes and achievements, and an outlook to the future of lunar exploration.
Representatives from ESA and NASA will also be present. Special guests will include ESA Astronauts Alexander Gerst and Pablo Alvarez Fernandez, so don't miss this opportunity.
You will also have the chance to take a unique look inside the cleanroom, where for the first time ever, three ESMs will be on display simultaneously, including the ESM-3 module that will carry the first woman and first person of colour to the Moon. This will also be a rare opportunity for taking pictures of/ filming the ESM-4 in the cleanroom.
